Family
Dulce has a warm family life. Living in Spain her entire family live with her. She has her parents and younger brother, Paulo living in the home, as well as an aunt and uncle from her father's side, and their three young children.

History
Dulce was born to be the eldest daughter in her family. Although her father (Spanish by birth) wanted a son first, he happily embraced having a daughter. At the time of Dulce's birth, her father had been living in England as a correspondant from Spain for his faher, who was, at the time, well respected in various political circles. When he died, Dulce, her father and mother moved back to Spain, so he could take up his father's place - having earned respect and good will from all the right people early on in his career as a politician. Having a family only increased his propaganda. The move happened when Dulce was six-years-old.

Back in Spain, Dulce fit in quite well. Having an English mother and a Spanish father meant that he was already bilingual, because she was only ever allowed to speak to her father in Spanish. So she fit in quite well. Her mother had been on the stage when in England, so Dulce's love of all things musical came from her mother always singing, humming, or playing the piano. Dulce was quick to pick up tunes and sing or hum them in harmony with her mother, so it seemed a natural step for her to take on an instrument, which happened to be the viola.

Although Dulce never took an interest in politics, she had a close relationship with her father, he liked to ask her opinion on bills, and acts that he was for or against, so he was able to get an out-side and more open view of what his wills and wants would do to those also effected. They also shared a love of languages, and he would often test her and teach her different languages, always favouring Latin.

When Dulce was twelve, her little brother Paulo was born. Although she wasn't adverse to the new addition to the family, she wasn't too happy about it either, because she often had to stop her practice of viola, or stop studying to care for him, if her mother was out, and while her father was away at work. One situation of carelessness occoured when she was thirteen. She was looking after Paulo in the heat of the day and had put him in their homes swimming pool, in a bouyancy-aid while she swam near by to keep cool. While Paulo was splashing around, he came loose from the float and began to sink. Dulce dived under water to bring him back up, but Paulo panicking kept pulling her hair and made it difficult for Dulce to reach the surface. Once she did, she found herself shaking and becoming short of breath whenever she went near the deeper end of the pool.

Dulce is one of those girls who, because of her father's job, is less inclined to give her own opinion and happier to go along with the crowd. Which sometimes gives her the look of being spineless; but really she just wants to avoid confrontation. She's naturally a bright and optimistic girl, always looking at the glass half-full; and looking for the good in people constantly. She's a very warm and caring girl, and is someone who likes to befriend anyone she comes across.
