Family and Personality
Like Spencer, Ebony is the oldest child in her family. Her parents are divorced and this occoured when Ebony was fourteen. Her parents, Juliette and Michael are both remarried and
happy with their new partners. Ebony's step-parents are Lilly and Douglas. Michael is an overseas journalist with connections all over the world, and Juliette was a care
worker before Harry was born. She now cares for Harry 24/7. Douglas is an accountant and Lilly a legal secretary. When Lilly and Michael married when Ebony was nineteen, Lilly came with Alexis, Ebony's now step-sister.
Alexis is nine and loves anything and everything to do with ballet. Their regualar sisterly trip is Ebony going to Alexis' ballet classes to watch her. When the divorce was taking place
Juliette with pregnant with Ebony's younger brother Harry. Harry was born with downs-syndrome and takes up a lot of Juliette's time. Both she and Douglas are very patient and
Ebony dotes upon both her younger siblings having been mostly alone growing up.
Having siblings much younger than herself and who require a lot of time and attention has given Ebony infinate patience and tolorance. She takes on a motherly role or older sister role
much of the time. She is always the first to take new employees at the restaurant she waitresses at under her wing. She has an exceptionally long fuse and rarely gets angry or allows
her temper to get the better of her. She is smart, witty and very 'to the point' about everything. She dislikes conflict between anyone and will always be the first to try and placate
a situation.
Her attitude, however, does not mean that Ebony does not have a back bone. She is very able to stand on her own two feet and say 'no' and knows when she is being taken advantage of. She is
logical and always calm preferring to settle disputes with softly spoken words, rather than shouting and name calling. The few times her temper flares it is only for short periods of time and
Ebony often feels bad for it minutes afterwards. She will be the first to apologise after any situation where she might had raised her voice, and does have a habit of apologising for things
when they are not her fault. She has a curious mind, and takes a bit of time to warm up to people at first, thus coming off as aloof. Her calmness also puts off other people around her, as
her consistantly calm attitude can come across as patronising.
Bonus Information
- Ebony has an exceptional singing voice but does not have the confidence to sing in front of others, so often when the house is empty will record herself singing on her computer. No
one else knows this.
- Part of the reason Ebony enjoys watching Alexis doing ballet is because she has loved ballet since her childhood and loves to watch it in any form.
- Ebony's music tastes are very varied, but tends to prefer classical music.
- Since early school years Ebony has been a book worm and would prefer to read than watch television. Her yearly ritual is to read "Little Women" every year at Christmas.
- She likes the idea of getting a tattoo, but has an extremely low pain threshold.
