Family and Personality
Spencer is the oldest child in his family. His mother was pregnant with him when she was eighteen. His parents have been together since high school. His mother, Ursula works part
time in a hospital as a medical receptionist, but is currently on maternity leave following the birth of Spencer's baby sister, Amy. His father, Guy, is a sous chef and works
a lot of the time so Spencer rarely sees him. However, Guy has passed on much on his culinary knowledge to Spencer which shows in his own cooking skills. Spencer's other siblings include
a fifteen-year-old sister, Hayley who is the oldest sister he has. His three brothers are twins Noah and Callum aged eleven, and Steven aged five.
Spencer is, on the whole a good guy. Friendly, approachable and forth-wright. He doesn't like to play mind games and will often say exactly what he means to say without sugar coating
it for anyone. That isn't to say he is cruel, he just lacks tact. He's a very confident young man and always has been. He is happy in his own company and in the company of others, it
doesn't take long for him to warm to new people. However, because of his confidence, he dislikes being told if he is wrong, and hates his descisions to be questioned. This does lead
to loggerheads with people and his confidence coming across more like arrogance. As he is the oldest of six, Spencer is used to dealing with responsibility and takes it on very easily
though he does at times, especially when he feels he is being blocked at every aspect of his descision making, revert to childish tactics and start acting like a child.
He is flirtacious by nature, and while this trait has gained him a lot of female attention in the past, he does not treat relationships seriously preferring only a short stint with women,
than anything long term.
While Spencer is laid back most of the time and likes to go with the flow, he is someone who is irritated easily but does not like getting angry. This ususally winds up being
turned inwards on himself. He can't stand people not standing up for themselves, and finds it hard to comprehend how some people can be 'okay' with being put down. Spencer has
a very good sense of right and wrong, which makes him compassionate to the plights of others. He has a weak spot for people in distress, and likes any chance to prove his worth. This
has led him into situations way over his head in the past, and still does.
Bonus Information
- Because Spencer's parents settled down so early, they keep pushing him to settle down and have a family. Spencer is in no rush to do this, and secretly thinks his parents settled
too early.
- While Spencer is athlethically built, he has no passion for sport of physical activity. The only sports he likes are BMX biking and paint ball.
- He is musically gifted and able to play several instruments including six-string guitar, ukele, piano and saxophone. His most prized possession is an acoustic guitar signed by Mike Jagger.
- Due to his father's influence Spencer is an excellent cook in his own right and enjoys experimenting in his mother's kitchen.
- He hates musical theatre, but enjoys the spoken word.
